QIP Certifications is governed by a Board Chair to ensure we adhere to best practice across our organisation and service provision, and continually improve for the benefit of our clients and the health and human service sectors. Our Board Chair is responsible for ensuring QIP Certifications' commitment to quality and delivery of simple and effective certification programs is consistent with international best practice.
Dr Stephen Clark

Group Chief Executive: Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL) Group of Companies including AGPAL, Quality Innovation Performance Limited (QIP), Quality Innovation Performance Consulting Pty Ltd (QIP Consulting) and Quality Innovation Performance International Pty Ltd (QIP International).
Dr Stephen Clark has been leading the AGPAL Group for 10 years. Dr Clark reports to both the AGPAL and QIP Boards, being responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of the Group.
Dr Clark has over 29 years of senior leadership experience with 23 years as chief executive. His governance experience includes roles such as chair of board, national president, company secretary and board member for more than a dozen companies since the mid-1990s focused mainly in the health and education sectors. He has also chaired a range of sub-committees as a non-executive director.
Dr Clark is Chair of Council for the International Accreditation Programme of the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua), a Board Member on the ISQua Accreditation Committee and ISQua Board. Dr Clark is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Fellow of the International Institute of Directors and Managers and a Certified Chief Executive Officer. He holds qualifications in Teaching, Psychology, Counselling and Special Education, as well as a Doctorate in Philosophy.
Dr Clark is married in a blended family with six children and is passionate about sailing and travelling.
